  • Do you manage the project during construction?
We offer site coordination services which include regular site visits, resolving design queries, and liaising with trades to ensure the design is executed correctly.
  • Do you offer full-service design or just concept development?
We offer both. Depending on your needs, we can provide concept-only packages or full-service design, including documentation, approvals, and site coordination through to completion.
  • How long does the design process take?
This depends on the scope. Concept design typically takes 1-2 weeks. Full documentation and approvals can take 2-4 weeks. We’ll provide a clear timeline in your proposal.
  • How do I get started?
You can start by giving us a call on 0405 390 722, sending an email to tessa@editinteriors.com.au or sending us a message through our contact page. We’ll talk through your project and the best next steps.
  • Do you handle council approvals and compliance?
Yes. We prepare drawings and documentation required for certifier and council approvals, including compliance with the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and DDA.
  • How much does interior design cost?
Costs vary depending on the size and complexity of the project. We offer tailored proposals after an initial consultation. If you're just starting out, we also offer concept packages suited to smaller budgets.
  • What types of projects do you work on?
Edit Interiors specialises in commercial interior design, including retail, hospitality, office, and wellness spaces. We do not take on residential or home renovation projects.
  • Do you work with clients outside of Brisbane?
Yes. While we’re based in Brisbane, we take on projects across Australia. Many of our services, including design and documentation, can be delivered remotely.
  • Can you recommend builders or trades?
Yes. We regularly work with trusted trades and builders who understand our design standards and project timelines. We're happy to connect you or coordinate works on your behalf.
  • When should I engage an interior designer?
As early as possible—ideally before signing a lease or finalising your layout. Early involvement allows us to maximise space, streamline approvals, and align the design with your brand and business goals.
